Overview
FilmStruck was a streaming service from TCM, specializing in the largest library of indie, art house and foreign films and exclusive host of The Criterion Collection.
Our team organized the library in themes in the main carousels instead of individual poster art. Doing so, allowed us to group these titles together in a way that we knew an audience of cinephiles would love.
Designed display art for all user interfaces, (including, desktop, iPad, phone and TV) to promote curated film collections based on weekly themes. I, personally, designed 100+ themes that went live over the app’s 2-year lifespan, along with presenting backup variations for every theme.
Also, supported cross-promotion marketing efforts (display ads, email, animations, etc) to advertise FilmStruck’s new service to current TCM.com and TCM Shop subscribers encouraging them to test the product.
